Joey Lau is the Manager, Sustainable Development at Swire Properties, a leading developer, owner, and operator of mixed-use developments in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. In her current role, she provides strategic oversight on the implementation of the company’s sustainable development strategy, supporting decarbonisation, nature integration, and responsible business practices across its portfolio, while also leading responses to major global sustainability indices.
With over a decade of experience in sustainability across both consultancy and in-house roles, Joey brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by her work with multinational conglomerates and top-tier real estate developers. Her expertise spans GHG accounting and target setting, climate risk assessment, biodiversity and nature-related analysis, sustainability reporting, and supply chain ESG management.
Joey is particularly experienced in translating sustainability ambition into measurable outcomes—driving data-driven decision-making, strengthening governance frameworks, and advancing cross-sector collaboration to support the transition toward low-carbon and nature-positive built environments.

Valerie Wang is the Senior Sustainability Solution Consultant at EcoVadis, a purpose-driven company partnering with global customer base to drive positive impact in the supply chain through trusted data and robust supplier risk & engagement intelligence.

In her role, Valerie guides businesses to strategize and maximize EcoVadis’ solution suite value for each customer’s specific use cases and objectives. Her passion and main focus areas are modern slavery, living wage, and Scope 3 value chain emissions.

Prior to her current role, Valerie worked as a Senior Sustainability Analyst and Team Lead focusing on labor and human rights Ratings methodology and engagement with the rated companies.

Valerie obtained Master’s Degree in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris.
